🎙️ SPAC Guest Spotlight — Meet Chaz Churchwell

From the U.S. Army to the boardrooms of public companies, Chaz Churchwell has spent nearly two decades helping leaders manage risk with precision and integrity. A U.S. Army Reserve veteran and founder of Churchwell Insurance Agency, Chaz brings an unwavering sense of purpose to executive liability insurance — protecting what founders, officers, and directors work so hard to build.

Since founding his agency in 2014, Chaz and his team have served over 1,200 clients, specializing in executive liability for public companies — including D&O, E&O, cyber, crime, IP, and more. He’s on track for the prestigious ExecPLP designation and is a proud member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. Chaz is frequently invited to speak internationally on coverage trends and risk management in today’s fast-evolving capital markets.

With a BA from the University of North Texas and an MA in Apologetics from BIOLA University, Chaz’s dedication to clarity, ethics, and education is evident in every client interaction. He’s passionate about fitness, faith, and family — cheering on his daughter’s basketball journey and (against his better judgment) still rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite cause is The Mighty Oaks Foundation, which fights veteran suicide by restoring purpose to those who served.

“Insurance is not a job to me; it’s a passion,” says Chaz. “Trusting me with what you work hard building is an awesome privilege — and I work hard protecting it.”
