When a young boy is found on a battlefield, it sets into motion a series of events that will have potentially catastrophic results unless that young boy – now a young man – can solve the puzzle that his mentor left him before he died.
“The script strategically plays with the audience’s expectations, occasionally embracing familiar tropes and conventions only to cleverly subvert them. This approach engages the viewers by luring them into making certain assumptions that ultimately prove untrue, keeping the storyline full of surprises and fresh perspectives. While The Ultimate Question may not reinvent the wheel when it comes to adventure narratives, its blend of philosophical depth, humor, and narrative subversion makes it a compelling and distinct contribution to the genre, ensuring that the audience will find an element of surprise and intrigue within its more traditional plot structure… While the script explores elements commonly associated with the genre, it stands out for its unique take on these traditional elements, delivering fresh and thought-provoking lessons that set it apart.” — Reviewer, Wiki: The World’s Fastest Screenplay Contest
“The screenplay’s originality shines here. You’ve taken a hero journey, set it in a vividly rendered world, and given it a dash of existential philosophy – an entertaining and inventive proposal. The themes of identity are explored in depth, coming across with an urgency and relatability that an audience will find appealing. The screenplay treats these themes with honesty and care, which will only add to that appeal.” — Reviewer, Filmmatic Sci-Fi/Fantasy Awards
