Revelation 22:18-21, I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this Book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this Book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City, which are described in this Book. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.—————We live in a world of compromise. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. We can come to some sort of an agreement, as long as we are both willing to give up a little. It is how deals get done and how agreements get reached.----------It may be how the world around us works, but it doesn’t work that way with God’s truth. God doesn’t accept compromise when it comes to his truth. Jesus says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” It leaves no room for compromise even when the world around us tells us you have to go along to get along.----------The church must be firm in our conviction to that truth without compromise. To find middle ground may seem convenient or tolerable in the moment, but it is a recipe for spiritual disaster and opens the door for false teaching to gain a greater foothold.
