Who has ever heard a guy utter those famous words, "Instructions? I don't need to follow instructions. I got this!" Admittedly, there are some of the more mechanically inclined among us that can pull that off, but for the most part, that is a daunting challenge for the rest of us. We're always the ones with the "extra" parts left over when our project is completed.----------In the message this Sunday, Frank will focus on the section of James one where we are urged to not only be hearers of the Word, but doers of it as well. But we would be remiss if we didn't remember that at the beginning of this section, James says, "...let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak..." The message is that we are not to be lethargic or indifferent in our obedient action, but it is just as important to "follow the instructions" given so we know how we are to act in accordance to God's Word.
