Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. --John 14:6We have been looking at Jesus’s claims in John 14:6. In this simple text Jesus emphatically claims to be The Way (an unmatched access to God), the Truth (unshakeable conviction in God) and, as we will discuss this week, The Life—a call for unconditional surrender to God to gain eternity. In all these claims, Jesus asserts that “no one comes to the Father except through Him.”----------In the past two weeks, we have looked throughout the scriptures for biblical proofs that support Jesus’ divine claims. This week, we will focus on a moment in time in the ministry of Christ from John, chapter six, that helps us to understand the significance of Jesus saying, “I AM the Life.”
