As Jesus makes His way to Jerusalem on that last week before the cross, He enters the area with great fanfare. People celebrate His coming and give him a "royalty-like" welcome.Yet, it would be the beginning of an emotional week for His followers that would culminate in their collective grief as Jesus offered His life on the cross.In the midst of all of this though, if we look closely, we can see this uncommon mix of power and mercy in the words and actions of Jesus. He enters as a King, grieves at the coming calamity of Jerusalem and cleanses the temple in righteous anger.
