We often use abilities, achievements and acumen as the definitive guideline of measuring greatness. However, looking at the Word of God as a whole and the teachings of Jesus specifically, we see that God's measurement involves a different standard altogether. Greatness in the eyes of God is measured in things like humility, child-like innocence, obedience and selflessness.For the Christian, this becomes an imperative for understanding as it runs counter to the mindset and culture of the world.
