In this video I touch on various aspects of coming out...including the privilege of NOT having to do so! I knew I was gay at 10 years old. But I didn't come out until I was 23! Prior to that, I didn't feel I COULD come out! And my coming out process lasted 2-3 years. As a therapist, I've had many discussions with clients about their own coming out experiences. It's sad to me that it's something people still have to go through. I'm hoping this video brings some things into perspective and challenges people to think about what people go through as part of their coming out experience.
