A Prayer for Ash Wednesday
Lord, You formed us from the dust. You breathed life into us. When we turned away, You did not abandon us. Mark us this Lent with true repentance. Teach us to fast from sin. Teach us to hunger for You. Give us the courage to return with all our hearts. And lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.
