Episode Description

On this T-Chromosome Daily, we roll back the calendar to October 1835 and the little town of Gonzales, Texas. When Mexican forces demanded the return of a small cannon, ordinary settlers stitched up a flag from a wedding dress and gave the world four immortal words: Come and Take It. Today’s nugget reminds us that courage isn’t always loud or flashy—it’s often everyday folks refusing to quit. Their defiance lit the fuse of the Texas Revolution, and their lesson still speaks to us today.
