Hi there, Tweed Scott here with the Tea Chromosome Daily. You know, Thursday's a funny kind of day. It's not the weekend yet, but you sure can almost get the smell of it from here. It's the day where the week's weight can feel a little bit heavier, because it's also the day you've got just enough time to turn those things around before the week wraps up. Here's today's nugget. Just don't count the days. Make the days count. Yeah, I know. That one's been floating around in different forms for years. But it's worth bringing back because we still forget it. It's easy to get stuck in the survival mode. You know, watching the clock, wishing away the hours, and saying things like, let's just get through Thursday. But here's the truth. You only get so many Thursdays in your lifetime. So why not make this one worth remembering? Making a day count doesn't mean you have to climb a mountain or invent something that changes the world. It can be as small as having a real conversation with someone instead of scrolling through your phone. It might be writing down that idea that you've been sitting on for months. Or maybe it's just taking a moment to watch the sunset and realizing, yep, I'm alive. And this is a good place to be. You know, I've met people who thought their days were ordinary until they started paying attention. Once they did, they realized they'd been walking past beauty, kindness, and opportunity all along. Hey, I've done that myself. The magic wasn't missing. They just weren't looking for it. So here's my challenge to you today. Do one thing, just one, that turns this Thursday from something you endured into something that you'll remember. Call a friend. Write a thank you note. Buy coffee for the next person in line. Give yourself a story worth telling tomorrow. Well, that's your tea chromosome nugget for the day, and I'll be back tomorrow to close out the week with more wit, wisdom, and a touch of Texas perspective. Until then, make your day count, because you won't get another Thursday just like this one. We'll see you tomorrow.

This isn't just a podcast, it's a Texas state of mind.
