Happy Thanksgiving from our church family to yours! In this Thanksgiving Sunday message, Pastor Adam Biro reminds us that gratitude is about so much more than the turkey and the fixings. It is, in fact, the sibling of faith. Looking at the lesser known miracle where Jesus fed four thousand people, he points out that before the bread was multiplied, Jesus gave thanks. Thanksgiving, it turns out, was one of the trademarks of Jesus, from the feeding of the crowds to the Last Supper to the moment at Emmaus when thankful hands broke bread and eyes were opened. Pastor Adam shows us how gratitude has the power to shift our hearts from doubt into faith, how grumbling once robbed Israel of the promised land, and how only one of ten healed lepers ever returned to say thank you. He also challenges us that true gratitude cannot stop with God, but must flow out to the people He has placed around us. This is a warm, honest, and genuinely life-changing word for the season.
