Episode Summary

In this episode, Paula and Melinda dive into the Christian virtue of compassion — what it truly means to see others through the eyes of Christ and to act with His love. They explore the compassion of Jesus, the example of the Good Samaritan, and how believers can show compassion in both professional nursing practice and personal relationships.

This conversation reminds us that compassion isn’t a fleeting emotion — it’s a deliberate act of love rooted in forgiveness, prayer, and presence. Whether at the bedside or in our homes, compassion anchors us in the heart of Christ.

  2. When have you experienced God’s compassion during your nursing practice or in your marriage?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for showing us what true compassion looks like.

Help us to see people through Your eyes — not as interruptions, but as divine opportunities to love.

Fill our hearts with mercy and gentleness. Teach us to forgive, to serve humbly, and to extend grace even when it’s hard.

May Your compassion flow through our words, our hands, and our lives.

In Your holy name we pray, Amen.
