Happy Holidays from the Gutierrez Brothers! We hope you’re enjoying good food, good company, and good times! For this special episode we are bringing you something a little different. Now this episode may be sacrilegious to some (and we are aware of that) but we do our best to handle it as we talk about something not necessarily “Christmas” but in vain of that. In this weeks episode, we cover PUNK ROCK JESUS by Sean Murphy from Vertigo Comics, a DC imprint. The story follows the cast and crew of a reality tv show where they cloned Jesus Christ himself and film his every waking moment. A very interesting premise that has you feeling for the characters as some of them are thrown into a situation that many would consider an affront to GOD. With emotional moments of highs and lows and unique art from Sean Murphy, this story was one to be told through comics. Note: This will be our last episode for the holidays as we take a small break.
