John has an impressive resume as a Coach as well as being father to the Canberra Raiders Ethan Strange and Woman's Sydney Roosters player Jasmin Strange.
John started at The Entrance Tigers as a Junior and Senior coach progressing to Head of the Club's Pathways of the Central Coast for the Roosters.
He was twice the premiership wining Coach of the Central Coast Woman's Roosters and subsequently is now the Head Coach of the Women's NRL Roosters side, winning the premiership twice under his guidance.
John was awarded the Dally M NRLW Coach of The Year twice and in 2025 he coached the Series winning NSW Woman's State of Origin team.
John is held in high esteem and respected in the game by all and has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of Women's Rugby League.
John also talks about his own playing career in Sydney and England.
