As we continue our study of the Sermon on the Mount Pastor Dustin Clegg walks us through Matthew 5:31-37 as he begins part 1 of a 2 part message titled Others First. The message has 2 applications for us: (1) In a world consumed with our rights Jesus is calling those who follow Him to care more about their responsibility to care for the needs of others and (2) Structure your life to keep your word, and watch the dynamics of all your relationships change. He adds that the point of the message is not to go home and try harder with your spouse, but to surrender completely and daily to Jesus.
