Pastor Dustin Clegg completes our look at the book of Jonah today with Chapter 4, and he emphasizes three points. The first point is that the tragic surrender to our moods leads to a dangerous trajectory for our lives. We see some things about Jonah's mood: (1) He isolated himself, (2) He becomes accusatory, and (3) He becomes completely irrational. The second point is that the scary arrogance of the people of God reveals a total ignorance of the person of God. We can apply this by never exalting the blessings of God over the heart of God. The final point is that the whole book ends on a question. The question is relevant for us today.
