Today Pastor Dustin Clegg continues the series, Clear Truth, as we look at John 8:31-50 and ask ourselves the question "Why Do I Need Truth?". We find that if we embrace the truth it will bring us freedom. The truth offers freedom from sin, freedom from religion, freedom with purpose, and freedom from fear. The applications for us are: (1) Jesus has new things to teach us and we are to never stop taking steps; (2) We are to love truth even if it disagrees with us, and avoid all manipulation and deception; and (3) Embrace freedom with truth.
