What an exciting time to be at church with the start of a new year and the Lord allowing us to witness a baptism, the spend time in His word as Pastor Kirk Owens kicks off the new year in John 1:14-18. Kirk shows us in the word that Jesus is full of grace and truth, Jesus has given us "grace upon grace", Jesus is God, and that when we walk/abide in Jesus... Jesus enables us to be this for others.
We also see that Jesus' word "cuts" us. And Jesus' word exposes us. Jesus understands us in our journey. Jesus is always there, so run to Him boldly and unashamedly... receive mercy and find grace.
