Brother Kirk Owens leads us through Ephesians 4 today as we continue in the No More Thems series. In the first part of the scripture Kirk has 3 points: (1) We must strive for unity at the Bridge Church; (2) WE must get rid of rivalry and competition among our fellow families in Christ; and (3) We must kill whatever it is inside of us that is killing unity from happening around us.
Then we see that it is on the leaders of the church to equip the Saints for the work of the ministry. Kirk points out that each person's responsibility or assignment may look different than someone else, but God weaves us all together beautifully. He finishes up by saying that there should be less "it's on them" to do the work as we all grow/mature in Christ together.
Let us be known by God and others in this way..... (1) They teach God's Word faithfully; and (2) They love one another and everyone in the community.
