Pastor Dustin Clegg has 3 observations as we continue the Not Yet series and take a look at Matthew 11:25-30 and explore Rest for the Weary. We see that (1) the invitation of Jesus is simple, specific, and clear; and (2) the humble and lowly heart of Jesus is mind-blowing and life-altering for the whole world. How do we apply these 2 observations? Be sure you are a bridge and not a barrier between broken people and Jesus. The 3rd observation is the yoke of Jesus and the cross of Jesus cannot be separated. You should find real rest for your soul by constantly putting off your own agendas and motives and learning from Jesus.
