Today Pastor Dustin Clegg continues with part 5 of A Harvest Story as we look at Ruth 3:1-18. We see in verses 1-9 of this passage that Naomi and Ruth did not make the smartest decisions. Dustin explores two dangers: (1) Forcing the issue can endanger myself or others, and (2) A lack of boundaries and self-awareness can lead to disaster. In verses 10-18 we see that Jesus reigns in awkward and confusing circumstances. Dustin points out that we can live so scared to fail that we fail.
Application for adults: Never put another believer in a position to potentially fail.
Application for teenagers: Strive to learn the Bible and learn yourself. Set boundaries that guard your journey with Him.
Application for children: Be bold. Don't be scared to mess up following Jesus. He gives us grace.
