Today we look at Psalm 51 and Brother Dustin Clegg offers 4 observations from the text.
1) The peace of Jesus begins with honest confession. (Psalm 51:1-5)
2) We can have peace trusting that Jesus cleans us completely. (Psalm 51:6-12)
3) Allegiance to Jesus brought by His Spirit brings us peace. (Psalm 51:13-16)
4) Genuine worship flows from a peaceful tension of our own complete brokenness and our Savior's complete redemption. (Psalm 51:17)
Applications
1) Get real with the brokenness, ugly, hard, personal, and congregational sinners that we are.
2) Have peace in the truth that we are not rejected by Him when we are aware of the brokenness.
