Today we continue in the series, Who is Jesus?, as we examine John 4: 1 - 42 and look at Jesus as the Living Water for Parched Souls. Pastor Dustin Clegg has 2 observations from the text:
(1) Jesus is driven to save the outcasts of the outcasts.
(2) Jesus alone completely satisfies and every other pursuit in our lives leaves us completely thirsty.
How do we apply this to our lives today?
Our "Surface Application" is dig deeper wells of Living Water instead of building higher fences of culture, race, ethnicity, religion, tradition, etc.
For "Deeper Cultivation" we need to spend time asking Jesus to reveal the pursuits of our souls that continue leaving us thirsty. Drop whatever it is, and go back to the Well of Living Water.
Pursue Living Water!
