We continue with the series, Who is Jesus? as we look at John 3:22 - 4:2 and look at Jesus as the cure for pride. Pastor Dustin Clegg shares three observations from this passage:
(1) Pride blinds us from actual reality;
(2) Pride can only be corrected by the life of Jesus being formed in us; and
(3) Pride can be held at bay by consistently cultivating the Gospel in our souls.
"Surface" application:
Do something holy and humble this week that only you and Jesus know about (I must decrease).
Deep Cultivation:
Remind yourself of the Gospel all the time (He must increase).
