We continue in the series, Who is Jesus?, and our walk through the book of John leads us to chapter 7 verses 25-39. Pastor Dustin Clegg points out 3 observations from the passage:
(1) Jesus is the only clear and perfect representation of the Father (John 7:25-29);
(2) If leadership does not remain completely focused on the main thing, it causes intense confusion among those following (John 7:25-36); and
(3) Jesus loves to satisfy thirsty people and turn them into rivers.
How can we apply this?
(1) Don't even mention neckties to people who are about to die from thirst;
(2) Are you thirsty? If so, come to Jesus and drink. Drink so much that you become a river. Not just a pond.
(3) Behold Jesus.
