U.S. college registration had fallen by 4 million in ten years, a 600,000 drop in one year. At this rate, college attendance will halve in ten more years. Some 60% of 25-44-year-old workers in the force are saddled with debt. And the average debtor will spend a minimum of 6 years paying off the debt. For the college debtor of 1975, the average debtor could have paid it off in 9 months. Can you hear the dearth knell of the liberal college?
