A "redoubt" is a small, often temporary, defensive fort, and some are attempting this in northern Idaho. We are back to the discussion—is this a time to concentrate the salt? Are we in a defensive position? Where can we live where the petty tyrants and big government tyrants might just leave us alone? Strategy, agenda, and calling is important and worth discussing. Will we shift our energies to local politics, or should Christians just abandon politics altogether? What's our first concern when it comes to building Christian community?
