Bismarck, North Dakota is considering an ordinance which would effectively ban the open-air preaching of God’s law and the gospel, especially as it pertains to the sin of homosexuality. What would Jonah do if the city of Nineveh banned his preaching instead of repenting in sackcloth and ashes? What should the church do? Continue to preach. Continue to testify and seek repentance, first within the walls of the church, and then within the walls of the city. Then, move on to the immigrants, if the old, decrepit, apostate world rejects the message.
