What does God do when we have failed Him badly? In Exodus 34:1–8, Pastor Josh Thompson looks at God’s response after Israel’s rebellion with the golden calf. God gives Moses a second set of tablets and reveals Himself as compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, faithful, and forgiving.
Our failures are real, but they do not change the character of God. His justice and mercy ultimately meet in Jesus, inviting us to confess our sin, receive His grace, and return to Him.
