Is Venice Really Ready For The World? Sandy & Chuck's Venice Pulse

In this engaging conversation, Sandy & Chuck discuss various local events and happenings in Venice, including this summer’s FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games. Venice is a designated Fan Zone for the World Cup and the media hub for the Olympics (as well as hosting a few events), but will it be ready? The duo then discuss how Venice Beach has always attracted tourists, beginning over 100 years ago with the Venice Pier Amusement Park – a park that opened almost 50 years before Disneyland! Sandy & Chuck then mention the recent boat fire in Marina Del Rey and question the benefit of news alert apps. The conversation concludes with the here and now and the story of a dog stuck in a car, Adam Topol’s recent gig at Lunetta and the upcoming Venice Boardwalk Valentine’s Day pub crawl. This episode has a little bit of something for everyone!
