Church was so good, I had to come back with a recap!
2 Corinthians 2:10–11
“Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive… in the presence of Christ, so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.”
Forgiveness is not about excusing what happened or pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s about protecting your spirit. It’s about choosing clarity over chaos, peace over pettiness, and alignment over emotional entanglement. And from where I’m standing in this season, forgiveness is something I do for me, not for them.
Because holding onto hurt only keeps you tied to the very thing God already freed you from. Letting go is how you reclaim your joy, your softness, your glow, your forward motion. It’s how you close the door the enemy would love to slip through. It’s how you stay in your purpose, not your pain.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean access. It doesn’t mean reconciliation. It doesn’t mean pretending the wound didn’t change you. It simply means you refuse to let bitterness have a seat at your table. You’re choosing your healing, your peace, your alignment, and your future over anything that tried to break you.
Forgive them for you, not for them.
Because you know who you are now.
You know what God is doing in you.
And you’re not letting anything or anyone outwit you in this season.
