This episode ends a little abruptly, so my apologies in advance. But I had to tap in because I saw a post on IG that stopped me in my tracks:
“Being rare means many people will admire the idea of having you in their life. But admiration and capacity are not the same thing. Some people are fascinated by rarity but don’t know how to nurture it. That’s often when they lose access to you.”
Whew. The words really speak for themselves, but I did my best to unpack what that means in real life — in relationships, in friendships, in the way we let people show up for us (or not).
