Our participation in God's divine plan is a spectrum. Some seasons we are making every effort, as is written in 2 Peter 1, and others we find ourselves "being still" as the writer of Psalm 46:10 describes.
Regardless of the season, our participation will lead to a better understanding and knowledge of Almighty God and his perfect will for us and no matter our disposition, we are to find our strength in Christ.
