Rev. Charles Barnett was born of the late Walter Barnett and Georgia Pentecost Barnett, on July 23, 1934 in Salem, Arkansas.

He was united in marriage November 29, 1952 in Salem, Arkansas to Mary Etta Morrison.

From 1957 to 1959 he served our country as a medic in the United States Army. Charles was called to preach in the spring of 1955. He traveled many miles over the next sixty-six years to preach the gospel and help others. During his ministry, he pastored the following churches, The “Y” of Gainesville, Missouri; Brandsville Pentecostal Mission of Brandsville, Missouri; Hilltop Holiness Church of Willow Springs, Missouri; Midway Pentecostal Church of Thayer, Missouri; Field Creek at Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; Lola Pentecostal Church of Lola, Kentucky, and Pentecostal Tabernacle of Richmond, Indiana.The past few years found him traveling to Poplar Bluff, Missouri to teach Sunday school and help start a new work with Brother Bobby Ryan.

Rev. Barnett passed away on August 24, 2021 in West Plains, Missouri.

Rev. Barnett will always be remembered for his dynamic sermons and overall personality.
Rev. Barnett will definitely be missed from many people of the Pentecostal Holiness Fellowship.
