What does it really mean to walk in the light and have fellowship with God?
In this episode of 100% Maybe, we begin our journey through 1 John with chapters 1 - 3:10. John invites us into something deeper than simply knowing about Jesus... a shared life with Him that begins to shape the way we live, love, and relate to one another.
We talk about what John means by “fellowship,” why walking in the light doesn’t mean living a perfect life, and how Jesus remains our advocate when we fall short. We also explore John’s challenge to make sure our lives match what we say we believe, his warning about loving the things of this world, and what he really means when he talks about “antichrists.”
Throughout these chapters, John keeps bringing us back to two things: love and light. Following Jesus isn’t simply about what we claim to believe, but it’s about learning to abide in Him and allowing His life to transform ours.
