Local Christchurch puppeteer Jacim unravels his troubled early years of childhood, from moving through a Catholic orphanage, experiencing his biological mother suffering from sexual abuse from a family member, which was hidden the guise of being a strongly Catholic household. Jacim recalls his mother suffer violence, and experience the strong effect of generational mental illness in his biological mum and her family. Jacim also reflects on the blessing of being an adopted child to his parents.
