Kataraina Waikato, moved through New Zealand's state care system (Oranga Tamariki) as shares how she believes that she was wrongly uplifted as a child when there was a domestic violence incident.
Despite the hardships of Kataraina's life feeling like she had no stable home, she is now changing the script for her own children. Kataraina was a former alternative education student at Te Ora Hou and is now pursuing her dreams & breaking stereotype.
