Dear soul, are you tired of internal sabotage and destructive self-doubt holding you back? Then the first step to overcoming negative self-talk is to recognize that the inner critic is a separate force.
I share three practical steps to help us externalize negative thoughts and stop listening to the liar within.
1. Give the negative voice a name (the Liar, the Whisperer, the Saboteur, etc.)
2. Write down the negative thoughts to make them tangible
3. Lastly, refute the lies using objective facts and past successes
The secret to a more positive mind is consistency. Let's practice this daily to recenter ourselves and to learn to listen to our true soul voice.
