This sermon explains that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was complete, so he now sits at God’s right hand because his work to save people is fully finished. It describes how Jesus is honored and exalted in heaven, holding the highest place of glory, and how believers will one day share in that glory because they are united with him. It also teaches that Jesus is waiting for the time when all his enemies will be defeated, and he will rule openly over all creation.
