Effectual calling means God reaches out to people personally, like when Jesus called Zacchaeus down from the tree. It shows that God can change anyone’s heart, no matter their past, and when He calls, it leads to real life change. The story teaches that God’s call is urgent, humbling, loving, and powerful enough to make someone follow Him with joy and repentance.
