Description

God’s People in the Furnace teaches that true believers are often found in times of hardship and suffering, just like gold tested in fire. These trials don’t prove that someone is godly on their own, but for those who belong to God, they help purify faith, shape character, and make believers more like Jesus. Even in the hottest fire, God’s love never changes—He uses affliction to refine His people, not destroy them.

A sermon delivered by Charles Spurgeon on August 12, 1855.
