Description

God gave the law not to save people, but to show how sinful they really are and how impossible it is to earn salvation by good works. When the law reveals sin, it makes people see their need for forgiveness and drives them toward Jesus, who offers grace and mercy. In the end, grace is stronger than sin—it not only forgives but also transforms hearts and secures believers forever in God’s love.

A sermon delivered by Charles Spurgeon on August 26, 1855.
