Description

This sermon reflects on the dramatic conversion of Saul of Tarsus, once the fiercest persecutor of Christians, now transformed by God’s power into a humble man of prayer. He emphasizes that Saul’s first true prayer marked both the evidence of his new life in Christ and the joy of heaven over a sinner’s repentance. The sermon calls believers to see prayer as the surest sign of genuine faith and urges the unconverted to seek God earnestly before it is too late.

A sermon delivered by Charles Spurgeon on March 25th, 1855.
