This sermon teaches us that our natural, fleshly minds are completely against God and his ways. Humanity was once pure and close to God, but through sin, our hearts have turned rebellious and corrupt. Only through God’s grace and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit can our hearts be changed from enemies of God to friends who love and obey Him.
