This message explains that the story of God leading Israel out of Egypt is a picture of how God rescues people from the power of sin. Before someone knows real freedom in Christ, they first feel the heavy weight and bondage of their sin, which makes them long for God's salvation. When God delivers a person, He brings them out completely, giving them new joy and spiritual strength, not leaving anything behind in their old life of slavery.
