Description

Have you ever felt pulled in two directions inside your own heart? Do you wonder why life can feel upside down even when you are trying your best? Have you sensed both a longing for God and a resistance to letting Him be at the center? In Romans 1, we hear the good news that Jesus meets us right in that tension and offers a foundation that holds when everything else feels unstable.

This message names a truth we all share. Every one of us is bent inward, tempted to make ourselves the center instead of God. Yet the gospel announces that Jesus has not turned away from us. He lived a perfect life, carried our shame to the cross, and opened the way for our hearts to be restored. In Him, grace steadies our souls and gives us something solid to build on when our thinking feels confused and our loves feel disordered.

You are invited to bring your whole story to Jesus, including the places that feel broken or hidden. As we turn our hearts toward Him in worship and gratitude, He reshapes us with mercy and truth. There is freedom in letting God be God and hope in knowing there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Scripture: Romans 1:21 to 25
“For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him.” Romans 1:21
“They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator.” Romans 1:25
