Description

In this episode of Brave Moves, I’m talking about something most people never say out loud: that strange, heavy feeling that sometimes comes with success.

You’ve worked hard, done the mindset work, achieved your goals… and then one day, you catch yourself thinking, “Who am I to have this when others are struggling?”

That’s the mix of empathy and guilt that so many of us quietly carry — especially women who lead, nurture, and give so much of themselves.

I know that feeling well. When my business first started taking off, I found myself shrinking instead of celebrating. I’d downplay my wins, deflect praise, and quietly wrestle with guilt, not gratitude.

But over time, I learned that guilt doesn’t serve anyone. It doesn’t make us kinder, wiser, or more generous; it just keeps us small.

In this episode, I share how I learned to shift from guilt to grace, and then into generosity. I explore what the Stoics taught about balance and discernment, and how living with awareness allows us to use what we have for good, not guilt.

You’ll learn how to:
💛 Reframe the guilt that often accompanies growth and abundance
💡 Move from comparison to compassion
🌿 Practice discernment when giving or helping others
🌍 Live generously without losing your peace
⚡ Lead with empathy — for yourself and others

This conversation is a gentle reminder that having more doesn’t make you selfish; it allows you to be intentional, kind, and impactful.

Brave Move:
Think of one area in your life where you’ve been holding back joy out of guilt. Practice grace. Celebrate your blessings, and find one small way to share that abundance with someone else.
