Description

This second-generation Los Angeleno comes from a family of writers. Life Without Reservations is her 1st book about her mother growing up at the famed Ambassador Hotel from 1921-1938.

As a former brand and marketing communications executive with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Lisa's parents taught her how important it is to pay things forward.

After retiring, she spent nearly six years completing her mother’s memoir, Life Without Reservations, about growing up inside the famed Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles from 1921 to 1938, when her father and grandfather managed the property.

Life Without Reservations evolved into a unique mother–daughter memoir, weaving her mother’s firsthand account of life inside one of Los Angeles' most iconic landmarks with Lisa’s own reflections—written as “Dear Mom” letters at the end of each chapter.
