Description

After spending his college years competing for the University of Texas Men's Swim Team, Will Glass found himself working in the spirit distillation business in Austin, Texas. After years working in this industry, Will decided to start his own business by selling used American Bourbon barrels to markets outside the USA. He currently owns and operates Bluebonnet Barrel Company in Austin, Texas.

Bourbon is a uniquely American spirit made from at least 51% corn mash and aged in charred white oak barrels. The legal definition for bourbon requires a single use of the charred oak barrel, meaning once a bourbon barrel is used, it cannot be used again to make bourbon. The barrels themselves however have plenty of "life" left in them and can be used to age other spirits and whiskeys. Markets worldwide buy these used American Bourbon barrels to age spirits. Will has found his market niche in supplying international buyers with used American Bourbon barrels.

In this episode, Will takes Davis and Juico through a whiskey tasting consisting of Japanese Whiskey, Bourbon and Rye.
